First introduced by the People's Bank of China in 1982, the Chinese Gold Panda series is celebrated for its annually changing designs, each depicting China's national treasure and symbol of peace and friendship.
Each medallion features an original 3g Chinese Gold Panda coin in 24-carat gold, reimagined in 18-carat gold and diamonds. The obverse depicts Beijing's Temple of Heaven, while the reverse features the panda in a design that evolves with each edition.
